I wish summer could last forever, but alas! It is not to be. School started today, and I decided to go back in style with fall colors. I broke a nail recently, so all my lovely long nails got filed down to nubs — I think I went a little overboard on my left hand, lol.
The polish is Zoya Pepper, from 2013’s fall collection. It’s a lovely oxblood, a sort of dried paprika color. I paired it with Jamberry Upper East Side wraps in matte finish, which is staying in the catalog even though the glossy finish is retiring today.
I decided to matte the polish to match the finish of the wraps, which I think gives the look a total preppy vibe. I really like how this looks together. Even though the stripe of red in the wrap is brighter than the polish, they compliment each other well.
Big news: I’ve become a Jamberry consultant! I’ll try not to inundate you all with Jamberry manicures, but if you purchase through my links, I’ll receive a commission. Also, you can ask me any questions you have about Jamberry wraps and I’ll be able to answer them.
What do you think of this look? Are you ready for fall?
