Like I said in my last post, I’m late with everything because I’ve been sick with terrible back pain for a few weeks. I actually started the school year last week, and I’m optimistic about my classes, if not all the administrative craziness we have to accomplish this year. For those of you lucky enough to start after Labor Day, welcome back to school!

I wanted to do something pretty simple, since I was feeling so awful. I started with a base of OPI’s My Vampire is Buff, then added dots in Zoya’s Livingston. I painted an apple shape in Livingston on my ring finger, then finally added little apple stems in acrylic paint.

These pictures make me a little sad because in the week since, I broke several of these nails and had to file them all back. I was so proud of how long they were getting and looking forward to filing them into almonds! Oh, well. Hopefully I can get through the next several weeks without breaks, and that should do the trick. 🙂
