I wanted to do something really elaborate for this week, but my skills (and patience) are limited, and whatever I do, simpler is best. So I decided to let the colors be beautiful and the manicure simple this week.
I started with a coat of butter LONDON The Old Bill, a really pretty burnish metallic copper. It looks gold in these pictures, but placed up against an actual gold polish, the reddish tinge in The Old Bill becomes more apparent. I let it dry, then put circular hole reinforcements at the cuticle and polished over top with Zoya Hunter, a gorgeous dark green from this fall’s collection.
I really loved how this came out, and wore it the rest of the week. Half moons are such an easy bit of nail art, and the right colors together can be super pretty. What do you think of this combo?
