Several weeks ago, I got the Orange Color Box from Memebox. I love the color orange (all autumn colors agree with me), but I wasn’t super thrilled with the quality of all of these products. This box only contained four items for $15USD + shipping. Even though I don’t LOVE them, I do use the makeup regularly.

Memebox is a Korean Beauty mystery box. They generally release new boxes each week; some are themed and others miscellaneous products. All items are Korean, usually lesser-known brands. Boxes range in price (starting usually at $23 USD) and standard shipping (which takes a couple of weeks) is $6.99 USD per box ordered (so if you order two boxes, it’s $13.98 for shipping). Boxes are usually pre-ordered to be shipped at a later date.

L’Ocean eye shadow – Pastel Orange
The color payoff on this shadow is not that great, but I’ve been adding it as a soft layer of brightness at the center of my lid over another darker color. It blends easily and on its own will disappear pretty quickly, so it needs some sort of base or primer to keep it on.

Tosowoong Bronze Spectrum Waterproof Gel Liner – Sunshine
This eyeliner goes on strongly metallic, but I find it can easily blend to near invisibility if I’m not careful. It doesn’t smudge much throughout the day. It can be hard to pull off a bright eyeliner like this. I either layer it above a brown eyeliner for a very autumny effect, or use it in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them.

Dearberry Flirt Lipstick – Million Dollar Orange
This isn’t a shade for the faint of heart! I actually love this lipstick and use it all the time. It goes on strong, but I blot it and sometimes mix another lipstick on top to make it a softer color. This matte formula goes on smoothly and dries to a stain finish. It doesn’t go anywhere throughout the day, and doesn’t transfer to my coffee cup.

Dearberry Today Nail Laquer
I love this soft orange color for the summer. It’s like a creamsicle. The formula was smooth and went on evenly in two thin coats. I have enough polish from western brands that I don’t need specifically Korean polish in my collection, but I really like this one. In this picture, I’m wearing a coat of Zoya Jesy over two nails as an accent.

While this wasn’t my favorite box, and I don’t think I’m going to purchase any more color boxes (I have enough western brands color makeup to open my own store), I’m not sorry I got this box. The Orange Color Box is sold out, but you can still purchase the Fall and Winter Colors Box.
