Shark Week used to be the highlight of my summer, but that’s when Discovery used to show actual science instead of dramatizations of mythical creatures. Still, I love sharks, so I thought about using blue and grey as my manicure colors this week.
I use all Zoya original formula Pixie Dusts: Liberty (blue), London (grey), and Tomoko (silver). I freehanded the stripes, since I wasn’t sure how to use tape with texture.
I broke a nail the other day, so I filed them all down. 😦 Oh, well. Nubbins grow back out eventually.
The cashier at Michael’s Crafts really loved this manicure; it’s always delightful when people notice my nails!

Love your nails! and I love sharks too! I completely agree with you about Discovery Channel and Shark Week now.
I’m so angry that Discovery is tricking scientists into providing commentary for these goofy mockumentaries. “Wrath of Submarine” was entertaining, yeah, but to pass that off as a “real” incident just makes people more afraid of sharks. Ugh. Ok, off my soapbox. 🙂
Oh I so agree! I wish they would get back to the way they used to do it!
This is such a great idea! So cute!
Thank you! I got a lot of compliments at work for something so easy to do. Win!
I usually don’t like nail arts with textured polishes, but this one is great!
