So what’s better for this weekend’s perigee moon and Perseid meteor shower than a polish that captures the beauty of star-spangled night sky?
Rainbow Honey is an indie nail brand that produces a lot of glitter toppers, but also full coverage colors, scented top coats, cuticle balms, and other beauty products. They have a mystery bag with three polish items and a few other goodies each month. The smaller size bag (enough for two or three manicures with each bottle of polish) is $10 USD and the larger size (15mL) is $25. Orders from Rainbow Honey tend to take a little while to process, but shipping itself has been relatively quick. If you spend $50 in their store you get the monthly limited edition polish free, and if you spend $65 you get that and a small mystery bag free.

Night Sky was released last month as part of the Summer Mixtape collection. It’s a mix of matte light and sky blue glitters with silver holo mini and microglitter, silvery whole and crescent moons, and small silvery stars. Application was easy for all the glitter — I just swiped it on. The stars and moons took a little bit of fishing and dabbing.
I applied Night Sky over Julep Octavia, a gorgeous indigo. While I’m pretty much throwing over Julep for Rainbow Honey these days, as far as monthly purchases go, I do love the Julep colors I have. And I have a lot of them after a year subscribed, so I tend to use them often.

I’ll be out stargazing this weekend, hoping to catch a falling star that isn’t already on my nails!
Next up: Mani Monday!
Gorgeous!!
