Memebox Review – Special #45: Chocolate Mania

Oooooh, this is SUCH a good box! I love the smell of chocolate. When I reviewed the Cacao Box, I warned that I would jump all over a second chocolate box, and so I did. Chocolate is an antioxidant and provides smoothing and softening benefits to the skin. And have I mentioned how good it smells?

Zamian Super Gold Cacao Pack (150g)
Pamper your skin with this pack infused with a blend of 99.9% gold and cacao powders — a beauty formula widely loved by royalty for its highly effective skin smoothing, firming, and nourishing results. Spread directly over a clean face and rest for twenty minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.

This smells so good. It’s like spreading a melted Hershey’s bar on my face; I have to actively keep my dog from licking it off me. After using it, my skin feels delightfully smooth and soft, and I just want to use it all the time.

Shara Shara Tempting Avocado Chocolate Massage Cream (100ml)
Replenish and rejuvenate skin with a richly nutritious blend of avocado oil, cacao extracts, and banana extracts. It will deeply nourish, firm up, and smooth out rough, sagging skin, bringing back a healthy glow to your complexion. Spread evenly over a clean face and gently massage for about 5 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Again with Shara Shara and the creepy doll packaging! I like this product, but it’s not amazeballs. I don’t bother to wash it off, but just allow it to absorb into my skin over time. It smells lightly like chocolate, but not intensely enough to satisfy my cravings. Avocado and bananas are both great ingredients for skin and hair, so I might try this as a hair pack.

Neogen Code9 Gold Cacao Cream (50ml)
An intensively moisturizing and nourishing facial butter cream specifically formulated to target those with super dry, sensitive skin suffering from severe dehydration and rough, cracking texture in the winter. Its key ingredients — gold, cacao seed butter, mango seed butter, shea butter, and olive oil — are all naturally derived and thus gentle enough to be used by all skin types.

Ooooooh, I love this cream. It’s so hydrating! It makes my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth, like a baby’s arm. The thick cream has a mild floral scent that fades pretty quickly, and it melts like butter into my skin. I love this stuff and would absolutely buy it again.

Missha Cacao & Cream Facial Scrub (95g)
A soft, cream-type facial scrub formulated with real cacao extracts to gently peel away any dead skin cells, blackheads, and whiteheads clogging up pores while maintaining skin’s moisture level well-balanced. Gently massage the formula over a wet face and rinse off with lukewarm water.

This looks exactly like Hershey’s Cookies and Cream chocolate bar. The scrubby bits are gentle and the creamy texture foams up into a delightful light exfoliant. I have a coupon for Missha and I’m using it to buy a backup of this scrub.

SKINFOOD Cacao Hand Balm (50g)
The cocoa butter complex delivers deep moisture and nutrition care to dry, rough-textured hands.

I purchased this months ago, actually, and have been using it semi-faithfully at night. It’s a thick, rich balm that transforms my dry hands and sinks deep into the skin layers to hydrate. When I first got it, it smelled like a bakery, but over time I’ve noticed that the scent has faded, and now it doesn’t really smell like anything. Although I’ve been sick and congested for so long that maybe I just don’t notice.

dearberry Miss Mona Lisa Eyebrow in Choco Brownie
Frame, structure, and stylize eyebrows with this easy-to-use auto-pencil. The formula features a beautiful, no-smudge finish and long lasting hold.

I’ve been using this eyebrow pencil along with my Too Faced Bulletproof Brows wax for the last few days, and I love how it gives a soft brown line that isn’t too dark. I can control it well and blend it in with the spoolie brush on the end. This is great for travel, too, since it’s all self-contained.

Binucook Cacao Choco Pie Soap
Scented with a delicious chocolaty goodness, it looks and smells of real choco pie and works to deep cleanse as well as maintain skin’s moisture and oil balance.

I’m so not into soaps that look like foods, nor bar soaps, but this smells decadent. I’m going to pass it on to a friend or relative who’d appreciate it.

Purederm Choco Cacao Collagen Mask
A facial pulp mask made from high concentrates of cacao and collagen extracts, it’s gentle on skin, delivers an instant moisture surge, and works to improve skin elasticity for a healthier complexion.

I seem to be missing a picture of this, but you can see it up in the box contents picture.

Well, since they put a Pure Smile in the first chocolate box, I guess Purederm was the logical choice for this one. I used this mask last night and it left my face glowy and well-hydrated.

All in all, this is a fantastic box with eight full-sized items packed full of cacao and wonderful. Come on and release a Chocolate 3, Memebox!
